This Privacy Policy explains how the AI Prank: AI Video Generator mobile application (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who We Are

AI Prank is an entertainment application that lets you turn your photos into fun, AI-generated prank videos using ready-made templates. We are committed to protecting your privacy and only collecting the data needed to provide and improve the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

Photos and images you upload. When you select a photo to create a prank video, that image is uploaded to our secure cloud servers and sent to third-party AI providers for processing.
Account information. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a unique account identifier and, where you allow it, your email address and display name. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your real email address.
Support communication. Any information you share when you contact us for support.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Usage and analytics data — which features and templates you use, session duration, and in-app events (via Firebase Analytics).
Device information — device model, operating system version, language, region, and app version.
Identifiers — anonymous app instance identifiers and, with your permission, advertising identifiers used for ads and measurement.
Push notification token — if you enable notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
Crash and diagnostic data — to keep the App stable and fix errors.

2.3 Purchase information

If you buy a subscription or credits, purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and managed through our payments partner RevenueCat. We receive your purchase and subscription status, but we never receive or store your full payment card details.

3. Your Photos and Face Data

To generate a prank video, the photo you choose is transmitted to third-party AI model providers that perform the video generation. Where required, we ask for your explicit consent before your image is processed by AI. Your image is used only to generate your requested video — it is not used to train our own models, and we instruct our providers to process it solely to deliver the result to you.

3.1 What face data we collect

The photos you upload may contain images of your face or the faces of people who have given you permission to use their photo. We collect these photos only as source images for AI video generation. We do not perform facial recognition, do not create faceprints, facial geometry maps, or any biometric templates, and do not use face data to identify any person. The photo itself, and the generated video derived from it, are the only face-related data we handle.

3.2 How face data is used and stored

Your uploaded photo is stored in our cloud storage (Google Firebase Cloud Storage, operated by Google LLC) in a folder linked to your account, and the generated videos are stored there as well so that they appear in your in-app library. Photos and videos are transferred and stored using encryption in transit.

3.3 Sharing with third parties

To create your video, your photo is shared with the AI infrastructure and model providers that perform the generation: fal.ai (which hosts the video models we use, including PixVerse, MiniMax / Hailuo, Kling, ByteDance Seedance, xAI Grok, and OpenAI image models) and PixVerse (direct API). These providers process your photo solely to generate your requested video and handle it under their own privacy policies. We do not sell face data or share it with any other third party, including advertisers.

3.4 Retention and deletion of face data

Uploaded photos and generated videos are retained while your account is active so that you can access your library and reuse your photos. They are permanently deleted from our systems when you delete your account (available in the App under Menu → Delete Account), and you can also request deletion of specific photos or videos at any time by contacting ygtsmt2999@gmail.com — we honor such requests within 30 days. We instruct our AI providers to process your photo only transiently to produce the video result.

4. How We Use Your Information

To create the AI prank videos you request.
To operate, maintain, and secure the App.
To manage your account, subscriptions, and credits.
To show and measure advertising (including non-personalized ads where consent is not given).
To analyze usage so we can improve features and templates.
To send you notifications you have opted into.
To respond to your support requests and comply with legal obligations.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted service providers that process data on our behalf. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

With the service providers listed above, strictly to operate the App;
When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public;
In connection with a business transfer (e.g. merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.

7. Data Retention

Uploaded photos and generated videos are retained while your account is active and are permanently deleted when you delete your account (see Section 3.4). Account and purchase records are kept while your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9); we honor deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Access, correction, and deletion of your personal data.
Account deletion — you can delete your account from within the App or by contacting us; this removes your associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Consent withdrawal — you can decline or withdraw consent for AI processing and personalized ads.
Notifications — manage or disable push notifications in your device settings.
Permissions — control photo and other permissions in your device settings.

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country, where data protection laws may differ. We take steps to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with this Policy.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App.
